STORIES
Below are some stories written by fans who have met Adam - have fun reading them! If you would like to share your story submit it.

I managed to meet Adam during the 2005 Mastercard Masters and 2006 Australian Open, following him throughout his fourth rounds. In 2005, Adam had come from the driving range and there was a large crowd following him. It was unfortunate he wasn't playing at his peak but there was still much interest in him. There was an eagle Adam got which gave the crowd something to cheer about and on the final hole Adam tipped his hat to the gallery in response to some loud applause. After the round it was frantic! Many fans were lining up for his autograph and Adam kindly obliged - he had his own marker. I missed the first time in getting an autograph but kept persisting and finally got one! I followed Adam as he kept walking and then he reached the front of the clubhouse where he seemed to chat with some family. Fans went up to him and shook hands.

In Sydney for the Australian Open, I managed to sneak in for free! We caught Adam on the end of the 16th hole and then followed him for the final 2 holes. On 17 he bogeyed and cursed at himself but he managed to make up for it with a birdie at the last which gave the crowd much pleasure. It was a pity he didn't end up winning the tournament though.

My experiences following Adam will be cherished forever - his graciousness and demeanour on the golf course is something that should be acknowledged more often and he is a perfect role model for many young kids growing up.

I had been a member of the Adam Scott Fan Forum for about 3 months when my dad surprised me with tickets to the AT&T National at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. We live in VA, about two hours away. I was counting the days til the tournament. I was so excited to go to the event to see Adam play and hopefully meet him. I went with my brothers and some of his friends. We went to all day Thursday and part of Friday. I followed him during his round. He played alongside Phil Mickelson and the crowds following were huge. He smiled at the fans when we cheered for his shots and seemed to be in good spirits making jokes with his caddie.

Following his round, I waited to meet him with tons of other fans. After finishing with his scorecard he headed to meet his fans. He was so friendly to us and very patient to sign things after having a bad round. He was very polite and thanked us for being great fans. "I really appreciate the support,” he said, “You are great fans.” He took the time to ask where we wanted things signed and even looked at his signature to be sure it was right a few times, I thought that was kind of funny. I noticed that he has his name printed on his markers. I thought it was nice the way he looked at us and didn't just sign things without looking up at the crowd. After signing autographs for some time he said he was heading to the range to work on some things.“Enjoy the rest of the event", he said and off he went.

I have to say meeting Adam was a thrill for me and I will remember it always. I plan to go to the National next year and hope he returns to play.

I became a fan of Adam's in 2006 and have been lucky enough to meet him three times! When I started learning golf, my coach gave me tickets to the Barclays Singapore Open 2006 so I met up with a member, pow, and together watched Adam clinch the title. I managed to get 3 pics with him and told Adam that the trophy had his name on it - he said it was a very positive comment - but one that turned out to be true. To see Adam win in front of me was an indescribable feeling and one that I'll never forget. The second time I saw Adam was only 2 weeks after BSO 2006, in London for the WGC at Herfordshire. I spent 5 days there, albeit jeglagged, but it was well worth it! Adam played really well that week but I didn't see much of him as I had friends and family to visit too.

My 3rd opportunity to meet Adam was in Phuket for the JWC 2007. Once again, I managed to meet up with other ASFF fans, Tel and Bell. Together we went and supported Adam daily. This is probably the best week of my entire life! At 2pm, we went to course and waited for Adam to finish his Pro-Am. After signing his score card and chatting with Tony, Adam came up to me and Tel. He had seen us waiting for him. He posed for pics with us and I asked if he would sign my cap, which he did. I told him I knew he would win the BSO, he said he remembered and said since I was spot on last, how would he do this week. This was where speech left my brain capacity and I mumbled like a ninny! There were many opportunities to meet and talk to Adam, even times he would greet us in the morning. One of the many highlights I have of Adam would be him greeting me at the 10th hole, getting drinks from him at the JWC Golfers Behind the Bar, watching him on the practice greens in the morning, the picture we took together in casual clothes, Adam remembering my name, seeing him in Quicksilvers and Havainas, him thanking us all personally with a handshake before he left and many many other times he would acknowledge us in the crowd and smile or tip his hat. Tony is a really sweet man as well, always with a smile and thanking us for giving his "boy" continued support.

Adam has always been the gentleman that he is throughout the times I have seen him, his graciousness and humility is what I find most endearing. Well that, and the fact he is gorgeous. I feel blessed to have met such an inspiring, motivational and kind person. Meeting Adam has also helped me personally, giving me inner strength, courage and self belief. I hope to see Adam this year at the BSO so stay tuned.
